Seamless Experience
The MOON 681 is a network player and DAC designed to create a smooth transition from digital sources to analog amplification. It features the MiND 2 platform, MDE1 digital engine, and MHV (MOON Hybrid Volume) level control. It supports hi-res formats (PCM and DSD) with clarity and balance, and connects natively to TIDAL, Qobuz, Deezer, and Spotify. Roon Ready, AirPlay, Bluetooth aptX, and Spotify Connect are fully supported — for lasting relevance and ease of use.
Designed for Clarity
A 4.3" color display shows album artwork, format, source, and playback status with clarity. The user interface grants access to essential controls without overcomplication. The front panel offers precise, minimalist commands. Standby power is only 5 W, and the 681 remains instantly responsive. The display, power section, and mechanical design follow North Collection values: clarity, stability, and long-term coherence.
Intuitive Connectivity
The 681 offers six digital inputs, including HDMI ARC, AES/EBU, USB audio, optical, and coaxial. Analog outputs are available in both fixed and variable RCA and XLR. Its balanced internal layout, combined with MDE1 and MHV, ensures noise-free, distortion-free signal handling. It functions as a complete digital front end in any modern stereo setup. MOONLink integration enables simple and elegant coordination with other MOON components, meeting current standards of usability and fidelity.
