We began our BROEN journey at the very beginning of the digital transport and worked from there to offer the best possible user experience and performance. We created a brand-new heart, the SERCE Digital to Digital module, so all digital processes could be executed with unbelievable perfection. We made sure to implement perfect separation between the in- and output domains and isolation of the audio outputs. Since a majority will prefer wifi connectivity we are now introducing an SFP port that can accommodate both an ethernet module (included) and an optical one (optional SFP module), for optimised connection to a suited switch. Furthermore BROEN is Powered by Volumio, which means access the Volumio streaming ecosystem, tailored for BROEN, at no extra cost. The latest version, Volumio OS 4, makes it the best possible experience with improved overall snappyness, and better app integration. BROEN, it really is a work of art.

Made for WANDLA
While you can use BROEN with the majority of other quality DACs you can control BROEN perfectly from your smartphone, tablet and computer. Furthermore BROEN integrates seamlessly with WANDLA using our FSCT. Artist and title information will be displayed on WANDLA’s screen and can be controlled with a finger’s touch on WANDLA’s screen or remote.
Made for HYPSOS
BROEN performs beautifully right out of the box, but you can take its performance above and beyond when pairing it with HYPSOS. Using the proprietary Ferrum Power Link (FPL) connection with 4TSD voltage sensing, both components will perform to their absolute maximum, unleashing unheard-of musicality.
Made for the Future
With BROEN you get over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates, and a plugin capable platform. Apart from including an internal SSD slot, we’ve added an SFP slot where you have the option of using a standard SFP ethernet module, which we include in the box or an SFP optical module to connect to an SFP switch keeping noise to an absolute minimum when connecting to the outside world. These features will keep BROEN up to date and future proof for many more years to come.

BROEN is made for HYPSOS. This means you can upgrade BROEN in two ways. Either you team it up with WANDLA, WANDLA HP or WANDLA GoldenSound Edition Gen 2, or you team it up with HYPSOS.
